Loving the world the we live in, starts with the love within.

Loving the world the we live in, starts with the love within.

Unconventional woman

Love, or the lack of it, takes many shapes and forms, from the woman that learned to set boundaries and now can clearly articulate what she is willing or not willing to do, to the mother that spreads around so much love, but is unable to offer it to herself first, to the way we treat the environment and animals.

Love is a state of Consciousness, one in which we can recognize how incredible any life form is and we appreciate it because of its fragility and uniqueness. When we are in a state of love, we give easily, we understand that everything is a continuous flow, we stop doing things that harm us, we buy consciously, we become aware of others and how our actions may harm them.

And where does all the hard time that we give ourselves come from? We are infinitely more gracious with people around us, however when it´s time to sticking up for ourselves, we sometimes play small and show a lack of respect for our spirit and who we are. We limit ourselves strictly to what we can see, touch, smell and hear, living this way diminishes our potential of life in general and what we can accomplish.

Some situations don´t go our way, but instead of blaming ourselves, we could ask: Why did this situation arise now? Or how can this serve me, and not take it so personal?

When we all agree that we deserve to be loved, to be respected, and that we are enough, most of the everyday conflicts will disappear. If we take a deeper look, it´s always about a lack of something that can only be witnessed when we silence our mind and start listening to our heart and what it needs.

I think you are beautiful inside-out and if you haven’t done it yet, you should start celebrating Yourself in all the ways you can…. Like, scheduling one hour for reading your favourite book, diffusing your favourite essential oil blend, or invest in things that help you and uplift your energy, like that yoga retreat that you always postpone, or just enjoy a simple morning shopping for organic foods at the Farmer’s Market…

I believe we manifest our inner world which results in the energy we reflect in our everyday lives. It is our responsibility to make sure that we have a beautiful garden blooming in our hearts and share it with others.

Yes, yes, yes! Inspiring words to live by! Now, more than ever, it is so much more challenging, I feel, in many ways because we are bombarded with negativity more than ever in our news rather than also being shown the good in our world. Although we need to be aware through social media in order to try to make a difference, it is easy to be knocked down and maybe give up because of what we witness.

On a personal note, I have always striven for years … well, most of my life, to find myself and to know my worth, while being shown and told I was not worthy by some I loved in my life, and I thought loved me. I continue to work on it and I look around me and see strong women who are also fighting to do so. Even though many days it’s difficult to rise above the dark clouds, it’s time to be a better, stronger, more content and confident woman … to love myself and to make sure I show the ones I love just how much they mean to me! 🙂

I am happy to see your positive outlook expressed here for all to see and hopefully encourage anyone needed it. Thank you for your beautiful message and reminders of the simple things in life to lift our spirits! xox

      Sweet Deb,

Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your thoughts with me and the Introspective Comunity. It takes a lot of courage to allow ourselves to be vulnerable like you just did (heart emoticon)…and you just inspired me to choose Vulnerability as a topic for my next blog post 🙂
You are a truly amazing woman!

Thank you Gabi! I suppose I did share more than I expected starting out. Oh well, your post made me think of how far I’ve come and still have to go. Must go and pamper myself now, haha! 🙂

  2. Awesome post! Keep up the great work! 🙂
